On this tour through the exhibition, the former industrial installations and mining galleries you will learn a lot about modern mining in the Upper Harz. During the excursion through the mining facilities both above and below ground, your expert guide will vividly inform you about the hard working conditions of the miners as well as the history of mining in and around Bad Grund.
Please note: The temperature in the underground gallery system is around 8°C. Sturdy shoes and warm clothing are recommended. You will be provided with a safety helmet.
